How to get there?
You can take public transportation (bus services) from La Coca Cola, which is located near Hospital San Juan de Dios, any taxi driver should know where it is. The service cost is 550 colones. The buses run almost every hour. The “bus stop” in Atenas is located next to Kay´s Gringa Pastries, down town Atenas.
If you are driving, you have to know that Atenas is located in the western Central Valley. You have to take the Panamericana north, drive for about 15 minutes from the airport, then you will find the Manolos´s Junction with the Panamericana to Orotina, take off on this point and go over the bridge, drive approximately 20 minutes (14 kms.)and you will find yourself in the lovely town of Atenas
Once you are in Atenas, the Cultural Center Spanish and Fun is located in Barrio Los Angeles, 1.2 kms from the Ox Cart monument, Quinta Villa Maria, plus there is a sign of the Center.
